I learned that there is a plethora of methods to engage students during lessons. Learning and comprehension can be enhanced through the use of highlighting and using different mediums to change up the learning environment and grab attention. I found it interesting that capitalization of words has proven to be ineffective when teaching words and concepts. I suppose that as I go along in the semester I will discover which mediums of learning are most effective during certain stages of the lesson for example
