In studying this unit I am amazed at the creativity required to effectively communicate ideas about complex topics like language. The creation of charts and phonetic scripts to facilitate better understanding of pronunciation seems like a process which is the result of quite a few hours of work. I imagine many of those hours involved rooms full of people talking in an exaggerated manner. It must have been hilarious to watch.
