This unit was interesting since it showed the importance of the teacher's attitude in influencing the entire lesson and student attitude. I have had teachers who have taught in both forms and I remember the feeling of being intimidated by a teacher that had a similar style as the first lesson and dreading attending that class. In the second class the teacher is able to change the mood just by smiling more. The students seemed more confident and the whole mood of the class was better and it allowed the students to be more responsive. I will remember how much my attitude matters when teaching because of this unit.
