I learned in this unit about the two motives for listening or reading. Learning about the skills of reading and listening was not new for me. Learning about the problems with teaching and learning productive skills and their possible solutions was the most important for me because I might face one of those problems in my lessons. Learning about the keys to successful receptive skill lessons was also of great interest to me and the provided outline of the typical one was too.
