In this unit I have learnt many approaches to teaching and how they have come to play a role in modern teaching methodology. What was most valuable in this lesson was the detailed explanation of the ESA method by Harmer and examples of its practical application. This will help me to design lessons right away and the unit also provides an ample variety of games that can be used to deliver effective lessons. This is why I found the ESA section very valuable.
