This unit was most helpful in addressing possible problems that a teacher might encounter in a classroom. Fixing problems before they get too big for students or before a teacher goes too deep into a lesson is very important. A teacher does not want to mentally lose a student at the very beginning only to discourage them from wanting to learn any further and grow any more. I like that this unit gave tips on how to ease into the first lesson of the class. Having a plan and knowing what is on the agenda and what usually works for students and teachers alike is very comforting. I also appreciate that this unit went into how to help reluctant students participate within the classroom setting. All of these skills and those from other units will all help me go forward and become a better teacher to the students who deserve a positive learning environment!
