It is essential to understand that varying materials during your lessons may be beneficial for your students. It is boring to always base your lessons solely on the course book. The use of authentic and created materials will liven up every lesson. teachers who use varied materials are perceived as more interesting and motivating ones. I used to base my lessons only on course books and after some time I realised I was wrong. Now I try to incorporate as much variety as possible into my lessons.
