I have learnt a lot about the different roles that a teacher may have to play all within the one lesson. I had not previously realised that the teacher had been playing so many different roles in a class and considered it all just teaching. This helps me understand how playing different roles can help with variety for the learners which can help keep up their attention span. This chapter has also generally helped me understand what to look out for in good teachers and in good learners. Being able to identify good learners may also help me identify "weaker"" learners and let me know that I will have to motivate those learners more."
