This unit is valuable as an aid to potential teachers in understanding the skills associated with reading and listening. It is about absorbing the information taken in through reading and listening and how much is appropriate to ensure that the students don't become overwhelmed and lose concentration. The choice of topics that will capture the interest of students' and the activities that support the topic is a good approach to delivery. I enjoyed this unit and am able to visualise myself employing the methods outlined in providing a lesson that packs a punch and achieves its objectives.
