I have never thought of these varieties of names for every word we say; especially, the five types of main adverbs - manner, place, time, degree, and frequency - make me think as to how I am going to teach others of difference languages. This unit described parts of speech of the English language. It is important to understand the proper order of a sentence for clear communication. Proper English sends the message to the receiver that you have achieved good language skills and able to communicate in an intelligent manner. It enables us to write properly. This unit is a test of the basic composition of the English lanugage. It has a few basic properties, which are outlined in this unit. I feel it has furthered my knowledge and also reitterated what I already knew and learnt from school- particularly of the subgroups of verbds & nouns etc
