Unit two goes through the basic parts of speech. We are reminded of the SVO (subject verb object) sentence order we follow in the English language and learn of seven different parts of speech: nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, and pronouns. Without going in-depth, the unit reviews what the parts of speech are/when they are used in a sentence and provide examples of each part of speech. I feel learning and reviewing the basics of grammar is very important for anyone to build upon their knowledge of grammar. I believe we need to know and understand the basic components of grammar for us to improve in any language. Teachers must have a solid understanding of basic grammar to be able to teach it to others and I feel this unit's existence strongly supports this.
