Assuming the user is a native English speaker who was never officially taught grammar, this unit provides the nuts and bolts of English grammar in a straightforward fashion. The unit covered: different types of nouns (proper, pronouns, countable vs uncountable), verbs in different tenses, adjectives, adverbs as well as exceptions to rules. Sentence structure is important for the very basis of learning. When someone is learning a foreign language the difference between knowing some words and speaking a language lies in being able to form sentences. There is great importance in knowing which order to place the nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. This unit is all about the different parts of speech an how to form and identify them. Before this unit I knew what the basic parts of speech were, but I have learned their subcategories and types now. For example, I never knew how many types of adverbs there were.
