In this unit I have learnt so much about parts of speech and grammar. I believe I will be constantly revising this unit as it has a lot of information that is important to teaching English.
There were some parts I already knew such as nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, pronouns and articles. However, there were a lot of things I did not know such as gerunds and infinitives. I have gained a deeper learning of the different types of verbs and articles.
This unit has definitely challenged me, the way I think about language and how I will explain it when I teach.
