This unit introduced the various parts of speech, defining them at their most basic level. Most of the lesson was a recap of information I already knew. However, despite knowing how to use it properly, I was unfamiliar with the term 'gerund.' I was intrigued to see the progression of grammar presentation over time. When learning grammar in school years ago, some of the concepts were less developed than they seem to be now. I found the subcategories of nouns and prepositions to be more detailed/better defined and, therefore, more comprehensible.
