A) Nouns and pronouns
Nouns Name a specific object, and pronouns can be used to refer to the object without using the object?s name repeatedly. a) Adjectives and adverbs
Adjectives describe a noun and adverbs describe verbs or other adjectives.
a) Conjunctions ?
Conjunctions can connect two phrases together or they can also connect nouns, verbs, adjectives, or adverbs together into a series.
b)Gerunds ? A gerund is the present participle (or ?-ing? form of a verb) that is used as a noun.
c)Verbs ? A verb is a word that shows the actions or states of being of the subject in the sentence. A verb has four ?forms?. The particular form that is used depends on whether the action is taking place at the present time or whether it took place in the past. The four verb forms are called: the base (or present tense) form, the simple past tense form, the past participle form, and the present participle form.
Articles allow you to refer to members of a group, either specifically or in general. In English we have two types of articles, namely definite and indefinite.
e) Prepositions ? Prepositions can be used to create phrases that describe or clarify the place, time or movement of a noun.
