In this unit we get a brief introduction to the profound world of English grammar. Grammar is the foundation of any linguistic structure. Without the basic rules and usage, it would be impossible to form a base of knowledge to build on in order to achieve deeper understanding and comprehension. The English language has a very tricky set of grammar rules; it would be very easy for a student to become frustrated and discouraged early on. A good teacher must find an effective way to demonstrate grammatical rules and usage, in order to keep students interested and motivated from the beginning of the learning experience. Once a basic grammatical structure is ingrained in the minds of students, they will be better able to move forward and master the target language.
