Unit 2 is certainly more time consuming and in-depth. It was quite the refresher for the language forms I use everyday when speaking and writing- often without remembering exactly which rule was applied. In fact, the other day my german boyfriend and I were discussing why and when to use many versus much, and I could only think of correct statements but not the rule. I think it's absolutely essential to understand the basic (sometimes complicated) foundations of English Before one can accurately teach it.
