The chapter gave a brief overview of the parts of speech, with examples and explanations of each. It was a helpful review. I noticed that some items, such as countable and uncountable nouns, were covered in detail. This was very helpful to me because I do not remember ever studying these in quite the same way. As a native speaker of English, this simply comes naturally, but to someone studying English, this could be very confusing.
