Unit 2 serves as a nice refresher course on the parts of a sentence. Every sentence is constructed of, at the very least, a subject and a verb. Sentences become more complex when you integrate adjectives (words that describe nouns), adverbs (words that modify verbs), comparatives and superlatives, and other parts of speech such as gerunds (verbs in the form of a noun) and infinitives (basic form of verbs). Most sentences also contain articles (a/an/the) and conjunctions (and/or).
