I have learnt a lot regarding the different parts of speech in this unit. Some has been review regarding what I knew of superlatives, comparatives and their spelling, nouns (uncountable/countable) and their plurals, articles and when to use them, adjectives and their order and verb use. Some things were a good review for me regarding transitive verbs and intransitive verbs.
A good review too were the different verb forms, the use of auxiliary verbs was explained in a way that will aid teaching together with the use of adverbs. All things I use in every day speech but understanding why and a pattern where to put them in a sentence being useful.
A good review also for gerunds (ing form used as a noun), pronouns (used in place of other nouns), prepositions (showing relationship), conjunctions (joining). Very useful!
