The content of this unit covered the parts of speech and delved into the finer parts of syntactical structure. Although I learned most of this information in high school, it felt like relearning it all over again. The content seemed to cover just enough without going too in-depth and becoming confusing. There were also rules and patterns that I had not known were actual patterns until going through this unit. I feel better prepared with this knowledge, even outside of teaching!
