Firstly, Viola and I would like to thank Matt for his on line support, he gave good constructive comments to all the units, replied swiftly when completed units were sent even at the weekends. The course we found very interesting in deed, the units were varied in their numerical order and the content was educational to study and then complete the worksheets. We found the grammar units slightly more testing, which were units 7, 16 & 18, I guess this because it been a while since we studied english in this depth (20 years). The unit I found helpful and certainly will put into practice was unit 13 'teaching pronunciation and phonology a fascinating subject! Unit 9 (lesson planning) is surely a unit that every teacher will put into practice as it clearly demonstrates the importance of planning your lesson carefully in all areas of development, study, games and activities and time keeping and will certainly help us deliver an exciting learning experience to our future students. The ideas in units 3 & 12 where games and activities were suggested for certain phases of a lesson we both found particularly helpful and certainly will use these documents as a working manual for future lessons. In summary a very rounded course that we found educational and enjoyable and we look forward to putting into practice the above now we have reached our tesol level in qualification.
