Unit 2 reviewed the eight parts of speech. Nouns Name person, place, and thing/idea and there are subcategories that include proper, compound, abstract, collective, plural, countable and uncountable nouns. Next are adjectives, these describe the nouns. Adjectives are important because it makes the nouns feel concrete. Following adjectives are the verbs. These words explain what is going on with the subject. There are many rules and exceptions with verbs and tenses. They will have to be memorized to practiced to know them all.
