In this unit we confront the fact that esl students and teachers may neglect writing as it takes more effort and time. The main reason the students want to learn the language is to communicate and speak and since writing activities create a quiet environment in the classroom we let go as homework and this rarely gets done. Nevertheless we must insist in creating the time for writing. It will mark a distinct difference between just communicating and being able to use english in a professional environment where we are often asked to write.
