This unit reflects on vocabulary and grammar and their specific functions. For example the functions of teaching vocabulary is different to the functions of teaching grammar. Both need each other to make a sentence complete yet they are two very different types of structures. Vocabulary is the words in a sentence and grammar is the correct usage of the words. If you cannot use the grammar correctly the sentence will make no sense as well as may be offensive to a student if the vocabulary is said wrong.
