This unit has been (so far) the most useful of the units I have completed in this course. One of the reasons being that I am not fully aware of all the grammatical rules used in parts if speech. As a native english speaker I use the correct sentence structures in my everyday speech but have been in most parts oblivious to their various components and more importantly the role that each of them play in forming cohesive sentences. I have now become more aware of the many aspects in forming a sentence and can walk away with the knowledge on how and why these different units can form a whole. The practical information in this unit and its simple presentation has left me with the capability of teaching the various parts of speech in a fundamental way, not only that it has enriched my knowledge of the basic grammar system which has been the trickiest part of my teaching process.
