In this unit I learned the basic parts of speech. I learned about nouns, adverbs, verbs, adjectives, gerunds, pronouns, and other parts of speech that are fundamental to the English language. In this unit I also learned to break down a sentence and explain in a simple but yet profound way. It felt so good to see how easy it can be to break down a sentence once I knew all the different parts of speech. After finishing this unit I feel like I can understand the English language better and I am more confident to teach it to others.
