This supports the argument as to why English is one of the most difficult languages to learn post-puberty. I thought I had it rough studying japanese grammar for 7 years. I completely forgot about the plethora of grammar exceptions within the English language. Although now I have more respect for the inner workings of English grammar and the individuals willing to take up the task of learning the language.
