In this unit I learned that there is much more to grammar than I thought. What I remember from school was the following simple list: nouns, adjectives and verbs. After seeing this unit, studying the individual sections and learning about the different types of nouns, verbs, etc., it has made me realise that every word has its function and certain place in a sentence, whether it being a simple or a complex sentence.
