For me, this section helped to highlight and bring out the parts of speech I use both verbally and in writing on a daily basis that seems to come so naturally. However, after carefully studying the lesson, I realized that, though it seems natural, I was not completely clear on exactly WHAT the parts of speech were. Simply knowing the definitions of the parts of speech do not much help to identify them in a sentence in which you are being tested on. This unit helped to flesh out what exactly the parts of speech were and how to identify them in a sentence.
