This unit summarized the basic parts of speech used in English. It did a good job of showing their basic use while also showing how complex and ambiguous English grammar can be. This was a really good summary of the basic parts of speech in English and a good refresher from linguistic courses in college. I really liked how the unit broke down some of the trickier parts of speech, such as adverbs, into categories such as manner, place, time, degree, and frequency. The prepositional categories were also particularly helpful.
