Unit 1 is an overview of everything that will be covered in this class. It breaks down the six units 1-6 and briefly presents all of the major topics discussed within those units. The most helpful part of this unit is the section of the acronyms. There are so many acronyms associated with language learning and it can be very difficult to keep track of all of them. I am also sure we will encounter most of them in future readings
