This section was a great refresher of what I learned throughout grade school. I even feel I learned things that I did not grasp when I was younger, such as adverbs and gerunds. I also got a more in depth understanding of nouns and their use with articles (countable and uncountable), as well as the 'formulas' for various forms of adjectives. I also did not realize how complicated pronouns can be, as it is something I am naturally used to using correctly. I feel this unit opened my eyes to the complexity of the English language and how daunting it can be for new learners.
