This is all very basic English yet I have a lot to remember! The difference between possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives is a very difficult thing to differentiate at times. I don't remember ever learning about auxiliary verbs! Simply knowing the differences and explaining them could prove difficult. Also, I'd never heard of a gerund Before this. This unit covered some basic parts of speech. It covers some of the most widely used parts of speech which may be of assistance to people learning English. It covered (among other parts of speech), definite and indefinite articles, adjectives, nouns, verbs, and prepositions. The unit provides a good recap on basic grammatical rules. In this unit I have learnt all the many parts of speech. I have learnt things we were not taught in school and can now easily say that I am familiar with all the parts of speech. All of my uncertainties about my parts of speech have been cleared up.
