This unit was all about parts of speech: nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions, gerunds, verbs, articles - you Name it. The rules for some are complex, and there are always, always exceptions to the rules, particularly with verb conjugation, article use, prepositions, adverb placement, adjective order. The only simple ones seem to be nouns, pronouns, gerunds, and conjunctions. This unit helped me understand the various Parts of Speech in English Grammar. This can be a difficult chapter to teach to students as it might leave place for many questions. I think this chapters should be divided into sub-chapters for different parts of speech.
