In completing this unit, I have come to learn a lot of the basic parts of speech that I had once forgot. I had always remembered what an adjective, noun, and verb were, but had since forgotten other parts such as articles, prepositions, and adverbs. This was a difficult unit for me, as it was a lot of information to absorb. I know that I will have to revisit parts of this lesson to better understand the subtleties of the English language. In the classroom, I know that I will be able to differentiate between what is correct and what is incorrect simply based on the sound, and the way something is written. I however want to be proficient for my students and be able to provide answers as to way that sentence may be correct or incorrect.
