My head IS SWIMMING. It's been over thirty years since I last had an introduction to English grammar and found this unit had too much in it. The unit could be broken into two units, a basic course of grammar, and a more complex explanation. what did I learn? that the opening paragraphs are in fact true. I tremble at the prospect of teaching grammar, it is confusing, and that it is no simple way of avoiding it. (I wish that I could) It would be beneficial to supply some simple handy to use flip cards of the various grammar rules and usages of said matter.
