Despite knowing all this, being a native English speak a lot of this unit I pick up without being aware of the full context. This unit has give me an insight into the correct rules of grammar. This unit was very thorough and as a result was a great way to refresh my memory of all the terms. All the parts of speech were explained in a way that was easy to understand. It was really useful to learn the specific terms for the various parts of speech that we use and will be teaching. As a teacher it is important to understand the figure of speech. Sometimes we are confused on the correct use of it. so we really need to practice so that we can be more familiar with it.
