It was great to be able to refresh my memory of this unit. I relearned a lot of things that I noticed I have forgotten. I Enjoy the break down of the the sentence structure and how each one is described. This section really helped me better understand the build of the sentence. It was interesting to review basic grammar and parts of speech. I learned about many rules (and exceptions) I was not previously aware of. Teaching English grammar to foreign students, especially beginners, is very challenging, especially since there are so many rules, and since each rule has so many exceptions. In conclusion, this unit has given me a better understanding of grammar. There are many different layers of grammar and it's not easy to remember the difference between for e.g. A comparative adjective and a superlative adjective. Once you can fully grasp an understanding of grammar it will become like second nature.
