I learn about Nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives,preposition, articles, conjunctions, gerunds, the basic parts of English speech. There is a lot to learn, and also to teach on this subject of English grammar. I hope to teach English grammar with out making it seem overwhelming but covering all the basics and then building on it. This unit taught some of the finer points of grammar. I knew most of this information already, but it was a good refresher and I did learn some new things. I learnt about the different kind of verbs and that verbs are not just 'doing' words. Going through this section has allowed me to remember back on the times that I had when I was studying to be a teacher. Grammar has always been something that I enjoy doing and I am glad to go through this unit.
