I am already a certified English teacher, but it was very refreshing to have all of the parts of speech laid out in a manner that is easy to digest and that contains clearly laid out examples. Each word of the English language can be labeled into eight main categories that also contain subcategories. Those eight main categories are nouns, adjectives, interjections, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, pronouns, and verbs. This unit also discussed articles and gerunds. Each category has its own rules to follow, but as any fluent English speakers knows, there's always an exception to the rule.
