In his TEFL review video, Graeme from the UK describes his experience during his TESOL/TEFL course in Chiang Mai, Thailand. ITTT welcomes all applications from native English speakers as well as fluent, non-native English speakers, regardless of nationality, age, gender or race. Our courses are designed for those with little or no experience of teaching English. Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

I learned that building rapport with students is incredibly important. Without that connection, it is difficult to understand each other. Being patient and trying many ways express the meanings and uses of the target language enables the students to effectively participate. Being constructive through actively monitoring and assisting is, of course, essential. This unit covered present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous forms. It also differentiated between and gave examples of the affirmative, negative, and question forms of each. The usages for each form were listed as well. The examples of common student errors and the list of teaching ideas for present form were helpful.
