What is the difference between TESOL and TEFL 1

TESOL and TEFL are often used interchangeably but the acronyms do have different meanings. TEFL = Teaching English as a Foreign Language TESOL = Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages TEFL is most commonly used in the UK, while TESOL is preferred in Australia and the USA. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Are you ready to Teach English Abroad? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pcXD_GNR04 -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit expands on unit 4 and gives an overview of the 4 main past tense forms in English. Like in unit 4, much of it was familiar to me. But it was still useful to review the past tense forms. Also, the unit went over some ideas on how to teach the past tense forms to students. I found some of those ideas helpful, and they will come in handy in the future.this unit is all about the relation between a teacher and a learner, here we have the role play by both the teacher and the learner including the characteristics of a good teacher and a good learner. in this unit we also have the different levels of language and looking at it i've personally learned how to interact easily with learners for a succesfull result
