If you receive a positive response from any of the schools you will generally need to attend an interview in person.

Types of TESOL Jobs in Ireland

As well as the usual English language schools, you will also find TESOL jobs on offer in universities and colleges around the country. Short term English language courses are often held during the summer months of June to September which also offer a good chance of employment. Teachers from within the EU do not need a work visa to apply for these jobs. For teachers from outside of the EU, Ireland does operate a Student Work Abroad Program which provides working visas for some applicants.
