I have enjoyed learning about receptive and productive skills, the information contained in the help sheets are very useful. This is learning which I can use and apply in the classroom, the example of the receptive skills patchwork lesson is very helpful. I particularly enjoyed reading the teaching materials supplied for this unit, including the sample exercises.The unit was very short but well organised and providing really good explanation of importance of two receptive skills - reading and listening. These skills are sometimes cansidered very passive. However, information provided in the unit proved that they are essential. Thus, in the teaching process quite a lot of attention should be paid to develop these skills.
