Even though I am a native english speaker, I still feel as though I have learnt many grammar points and lessons on the english language I had either never learnt at school before or I'd forgotten! I have learnt teaching skills that I can apply, not just to teaching english but to teaching music (what I am doing right now) and anything else I'd like to teach in future, which is great for me. I'm quite glad the course reviewed tenses and other grammar points so now I will have the confidence to be able to teach those points to others. Probably the best thing about this course is the guidelines, models and references I now have for the future, as well as the lesson plans I have made that will certainly be of use to me. I have travelled extensively in my life so far, but now would like to go overseas with more of a purpose, rather than just being another tourist. Hopefully I can do that soon!
