We were extremely grateful for the review of tenses, auxiliary verbs, passive and reported speech. We both was in great awe knowing we use all these tenses yet we don't realize how improper we use them sometimes. I've (Aida) been teaching primary who are native speakers and not much focus on the proper usage of tenses yet our experience on teaching esl to non native speakers was a whole new game when it comes to teaching esl. And sometimes can get extremely confusing and quite frustrating at times. We think one of the many things this course has given and taught us are guidelines. We have developed over a few lesson plans that were already adapted into an esl classes in Laos. We've learned great games are quite the handiest tool to have to break the ice into great learning experience and fun environment for esl learners in keeping them focused and interested. Furthermore, we appreciate the CD that came with the course for a constant reminder and for all the help and feedbacks. We feel that the course was well put, well structured and covered most, if not all areas necessary to teach esl abroad with confidence.
