This course was very informative. As a native english speaker, I never really gave much thought to how english sentences are composed because it is something that I learned over time and through daily practice. This course's brief yet rigorous material gave me a refreshed insight into the language that I know, and reminded me of the specific rules that I take for granted. I also liked the lesson plan exercises. These have been especially helpful when thinking about the practical applications of teaching esl. The large amount of activities provided by the course will be extremely helpful when teaching in the future. I will be referring back to the activities and course lesson material in the future. As an esl teacher for a wide variety of grades, this course will be most helpful by teaching me how to construct a thorough lesson plan, learning how to engage my students, and most importantly understanding how to effectively teach english to a wide variety of students through use of activities. Since taking this course, I have looked at all of my lesson plans through the EAS format and have been putting it to use to ensure that the students have a well rounded class.
