It's been a great experience studying tefl these few months. It was challenging, instructive and rewarding.
The ESA process introduced me a completely different way of teaching from the one I have used as a math/science teacher. Over all I find the “tefl-way of teaching” very encouraging, interesting and flexible.
The grammar lessons helped in clarifying how to explain the use of the grammatical rules in practice.
I printed out all the lessons and worksheets and arranged to two folders – pedagogy and grammar. I am sure I will go back to these lessons whenever I need some help for preparing my classes in the future.
In the near future (within two years) I don't seem to have a possibility to teach abroad, but I can keep courses or give private lessons. After that I am hoping to get a possibility to teach abroad, possibly two or even three of my subjects.
