Pronunciation is often something that is overlooked and ignorded by most teachers beacause they are afraid of it. But this is ironic because it´s something that is very important to the learners of the language and something students will expect from a good teacher. Especially amoung efl students whose alphabet has is not latin based. There are many things that teachers can do to help students improve on the pronucation and inotation of words/phrases to get them speaking a more ´´authentic¨ english. This can be done by teaching the phonetic symbols but more readily providing a perfect and over exagerated pronunciation
